Cinematic hard rock outfit Edge of Paradise has unleashed the fourth single from their forthcoming Napalm Records debut Prophecy. Titled “Give It to Me (Mind Assassin)”, the track arrives today with a fierce and industrial-tinged assault that thrusts listeners straight into its dystopian world.
The single opens with crushing, siren-like riffs and ominous synths, immediately setting an unnerving mood. Vocalist Margarita Monet dives into the lyrics with biting intensity, exploring themes of mind-hijacking and the blurred lines between humanity and artificial intelligence. As she puts it:
“This high-energy, explosive track embodies the ultimate showdown between the human mind and artificial intelligence… redefine reality and possibly unlock limitless potential for ourselves—but what would be the price to pay?”
Prophecy ignites with its first track, “Death Note”, a rallying cry against emotional numbness and digital isolation. The newly released single raises the energy even higher, with a beat-driven chorus that demands to be heard. Other cuts hint at powerful contrasts—from the claustrophobic riff assault of “Prophecy Unbound”, to the gothic atmosphere of “Falling Light”, and an industrial onslaught in “Rogue (Aim for the Kill)”. Each song seems to challenge listeners to “feel something” before algorithms replace their emotional core.

Behind the sound is a collaboration of heavyweights: co-production by Mike Plotnikoff, mixing and mastering by Jacob Hansen, and the band’s first use of 8-string guitars, all combining to shape Edge of Paradise’s most powerful and complex outing yet.
Accompanying Prophecy is a graphic novel that extends the album’s narrative and world-building—continuing stories from prior companions like Hologram and Slaves to Forever
