German heavy metal veterans Powerwolf are returning to North America this fall following the success of their debut tours across the continent. The band will headline a new run beginning September 17, 2025, in Toronto, ON, with support from fellow power metal mainstays Dragonforce.
The trek includes stops in several major cities, including Detroit, Vancouver, Seattle, and Portland, as well as appearances at two of the biggest U.S. rock festivals, Louder Than Life in Kentucky and Aftershock in California — both first-time performances for the band. Tickets go on sale Friday, April 11, at 10 a.m. local time, with select presales already open.
Known for their theatrical live shows, Powerwolf have built a reputation for transforming concerts into what they call a “metal mass” — elaborate performances that mix gothic imagery, choral elements, and operatic vocals with high-energy power metal.

About Powerwolf
Formed in 2004 by brothers Matthew and Charles Greywolf, Powerwolf have grown into one of Europe’s most successful modern metal bands. Their style blends symphonic power metal with religious and gothic themes, reinforced by frontman Attila Dorn’s operatic delivery and a stage presentation that often resembles a dark ritual.
Over the past two decades, the band has collected multiple gold and platinum records and scored four No. 1 albums in Germany. Their breakthrough came with Blessed & Possessed (2015), followed by acclaimed releases such as Call of the Wild (2021). Their most recent album, Wake Up the Wicked, produced by Joost van den Broek, debuted at No. 1 on the German charts and is being hailed as one of their strongest records to date.
With 2024 marking their 20th anniversary, Powerwolf have firmly established themselves as one of heavy metal’s most distinctive and theatrical acts — and their upcoming North American tour promises to bring that reputation to new heights.
